Teachers As Readers

Each fall and spring Tucson Area Reading Council Teachers as Readers select a professional book upon which we focus our meetings.  We share children's literature, too, in relation to the professional text we are reading.

We learn from each other and we teach each other.  We share ideas and we find ways to apply what we read, into our teaching. 

This professional development opportunity can be as powerful as you would like it to be.  It is time well spent, networking with colleagues who are also interested in literacy learning and teaching.
