 IRA's Teachers as Readers

Dig into the latest literature for students.  Each book will be reviewed by four different people.  The reviewing criteria is very specific:  1. Is the book of high quality in style, content, structure, beauty of language, and artistic presentation?  2.  Does the book have a great potential for enriching curriculum?  3. W ill the book not be discovered or fully appreciated by children without an introduction by a knowledgeable educator or other adult?   When the 400 books have been reviewed, we will rank our favorite 30 and submit those titles to the International Reading Association.  Did I mention that all the books sent for consideration are ours to divvy up after the project is over?  pick a group close to where you work or live.
